  2. This was identification with a new “religious” order  (i.e.) not Judaism but YHWH MALKI TZEDIK Malki Tzedik YEHOWSHUA, the Mashiach/Messiah.

  1. Transition

  1. John’s message was pivotal.

  2. Started the people turning toward the Mashiach

  1. (Change) Newness

  1. John demanded proof of real change.

  2. When the people submitted to John, they actually submitted to YHWH.

  2. For remission:  aphesis - release, sending away, forgiveness.
